Lightweight crown on historic tower given the
OK
An old Martello Tower at Bray, on the East coast of
Ireland, one of many coastal forts erected around the world during
the Napoleonic Wars was used to be owned by a popular Irish entertainer,
who installed a 8.5m diameter glass canopy on top. The current
owner decided to replace the glass roof with something more elegant
and MWE were called in by London-based architect Jones & Lambell
to assist.

structural design of an 18 m glass walkway in the foyer of a prestigious
new office building in the City of London - has been shortlisted
for an award at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona.
