2010 Orujeyniy, Moscow, Russia
Malishev Wilson Engineers were invited to design structural glass
façade for the multi million pound development in the centre
of Moscow. Within first week of our involvement we have saved to
our client around £2m by careful rationalisation of the glass
specification and advise on methods of installation. Due to close
proximity of the site to the busy road, complex study of the acoustic
performance was undertaken to find required sound reduction of the
glazing. In addition, Malishev Wilson Engineers have proposed structural
glass solutions for the main and retail entrances which have never
been used in this country before. We are very excited about this
project and are looking forward to overseeing its progress on site.
